McKinney Cotton Mill Wedding | Dallas, Texas Wedding Photographer
Tiffany and Doug
Tiffany and Doug had a fun, intimate wedding on a beautiful Spring day at the McKinney Cotton Mill. These two came home from Jackson, Mississippi to tie the knot in North Texas with friends and family. Tiffany started off getting ready at the McKinney Bed and Breakfast. She had the most amazing blue Oscar De La Renta shoes and beautiful Hayley Paige dress. Tiffany’s dad got to see her for the first time there. Everyone then headed to the Mckinney Cotton Mill for Doug’s first look.
Ceremony
A lot of the Cotton Mill is a factory ruin. We found a nice back area with light streaming in from one side and creating striking shadows. Afterwards, Tiffany and Doug’s ceremony took place in the courtyard area. They said their vows under arch of greenery.
Reception
After the ceremony, everyone moved to the reception area. It was full of games and floral centerpieces. Everyone enjoyed partying with the newlyweds until it was time to send them on their way. As big Dallas Stars hockey fans, it was only right that hockey sticks were in the grand exit. Tiffany and Doug left the McKinney Cotton Mill in a vintage car to start their journey as husband and wife.
McKinney Cotton Mill
Every wedding I’ve been to at The McKinney Cotton Mill has been a great experience. It’s located off of beautiful downtown McKinney. The city has lots of great resteraunts, places to stay, and easy to get to. The layout is sprawling and gives many options to create your own vision. There are many unique photo opportunities as well.
The Venue
The outdoor options are great for both small and large ceremonies. It also has places for lounge or cocktail hour when the weather is nice. The main building is a versatile area that is large enough to host a ton of guests. It won’t feel too big for smaller weddings like this one either. The aesthetics of The McKinney Cotton Mill is a great mix of vintage industrial brick and wood. The venue has a lot of character but is very open for unique interpretations.

I had such a great time getting to know this amazing couple and their wonderful friends and family. I would love the opportunity to connect with you and tell your story. If you would like to learn more about me and my work, or if you are thinking of getting married at the McKinney Cotton Mill, please say hi!
